Every single individual usually settles down getting a job after their graduation, especially after a B.Tech degree. Still, Kishore aimed to pursue his master’s in Computer Science, and even then, no one knew that a brilliant mind is growing to bring a change in society. He worked for a year and a half at TCS which taught him a lot for his further course of life where the coworking spaces popped up in his mind. It was not very late when in 2019, Kishore started his organization named Incoff as a workspace sharing platform, where underutilized office spaces could be converted into coworking spaces.
He completed two projects in Kochin in 2019, but soon the lockdown happened, and the entire business model went for a toss. Nevertheless, there was so much learning for him and his team, which made them realize the importance and practicality of working from home. There were many challenges, but as the companies are ready to accept the hybrid working model, increased flexibility in coworking spaces. Incoff is developing an on-demand workspace access platform, collaborating with co-working spaces through web and mobile applications. These collaborations will become a solution for remote hiring. Customers can book coworking spaces for themselves or teammates to get the standard services. Students and professionals also opt for such areas to perform the exams, meetings, and interviews in a suitable environment.
Coworking spaces opened up an array of opportunities; similarly, Incoff is working on an algorithm where customers’ and professionals’ requirements are met. For example, people with different interests will require separate coworking space, which will be considered. On the other hand, people with similar interests will be brought together where philosophies might match. Kishore also stated that meaningful connections would be established through informal conversations. According to him, facility management is one of the critical aspects of everything in a workspace. Starting the journey in this sector was not easy because he began from zero, not having that kind of background.
Kishore also stated that demand for coworking space in India differs from city to city. The approach of customers and formula change in every new place along with the attitude and bargaining skills. He believes in never sticking to one model and thinks it’s going to succeed. Constantly adapt situations and redevelop yourselves, to reach the goals you set. Incoff has tie-ups with coworking spaces across 30 cities with 100 plus workspaces. They are also in talks with big names in the coworking spaces. The platform gives you challenges knowing that sooner or later, you will outcome it and make a comeback during these difficult times.
Incoff is going to launch the beta version of their application and web service, where it is rebranding inCOff to ‘flXii.work’ which is going to be a major turnaround for them. Then, later in September, the official version might follow, which will make the work much easier than before. Kishore believes that work on something helps everyone with what they want concerning workspaces. Thus, making a difference in society and providing every professional and average individual what they aim for—a workspace platform with digital and physical offerings that he wants to establish in the long run.
“If you have an idea, go for it and pursue the goals. Of course, challenges will be there, but overcoming them makes your life meaningful and teaches you a lot about every change – Kishore Nair.”
